David is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Transport & Logistics.
David is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (as a mediator) and is a RICS Accredited Evaluative Mediator.

David trained in local government and subsequently worked in a commercial agency practice and an international real estate consultancy, where he became a partner, before founding Baker Rose in 1991.
​
David is a consummate negotiator, with a forensic approach to achieving results, resulting in clear advocacy and practical solutions.
​
David is a Board Director of the Compulsory Purchase Association (elected 2022). He now chairs the CPA's Working Groups on Affected Parties' Interests and Mental Health.

Sarah is a Chartered Planning and Development Surveyor with a Masters in Environmental Impact Assessment and Management.
Sarah previously worked as an estate and development manager for a major operational land owner, which itself was affected by HS2.
Sarah has since worked on a wide range of Compulsory Purchase cases, including HS2 and Heathrow 3rd runway, local regeneration schemes, as well as negotiating rights with Network Rail.
She has considerable experience in delivering planning and environmental consents for minerals and waste operations, as well as renewable energy schemes and mixed use developments.
Sarah's attention to detail, understanding and clear advocacy is critical to getting results.
